Train to Gain

Train to Gain is a Government flagship service to help employers of all sizes and all sectors get the training advice and support they need. This Learning and Skills Council programme is so designed to help companies get the training they need to succeed. It encourages employers to develop their staff to fill their training needs


What Train to Gain means if you are an employer:

Through it’s Train to Gain contracts NPVSL can provide you with an impartial, free and independent Skills Needs Analysis for your company to identify the skills it needs now, and what it might need in the future. By ensuring your employees have the best skills to do their job you will have a more effective and efficient workforce that can help boost your productivity and keep you ahead of the competition.

Funding includes:

1. Free assessment and training to help your employees gain their first full level 2 qualification (see our full list of NVQ’s)

2. Relevant training to support the NVQ

3. Skills for life support for those with literacy or numeracy support needs

4. Information, Advice and guidance
